When the world of entertainment is continually spinning faster, we take pride in building long and prosperous careers for each artist we represent. Dedication and commitment have been key words for us ever since the start in 1997. Over the years our roster of talent has continued to grow, both individually as well as by numbers. Today, d&d management is one of Sweden’s biggest independent management companies. Our collective experience is vast and varied, national and international. Marie Dimberg, who represents the first d, joined the musicbusiness through EMI Sweden in 1984. During her thirteen years with EMI she held the positions of Head of PR, Marketing and Vice President of EMI International in London to mention a few. Ulf Lundell, Wilmer X, Rebecka Törnqvist, Jakob Hellman, Lisa Ekdahl were some of the local artists Marie worked with and some of the international artists were Paul McCartney, David Bowie, Blur, Tina Turner, Pink Floyd, Queen and Radiohead. Marie was a key person from the very beginning of one of Sweden’s most successful international acts who formed in 1986. That was when Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle formed the super-duo Roxette. With four US number 1 singles and 45 million albums sold, Roxette is one of the most successful musical exports Sweden has ever produced... During her time with EMI, Marie managed to complete several educations, e.g. Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency and INSEAD Management progremme. Desert is the other d. It’s founder Jan Beime is one of the most respected financial adviser and through his business management Desert Jan has managed careers for a huge number of local artists and actors. His devoted work since the late 70’s has made Jan a nestor in the Swedish entertainment business. |
